Start the school year like a hero: scandal around gun advertising at Walmart

One of the shops Walmart sold firearms as school supplies. The company has apologized and is trying to understand in which store they hung a banner.
The sign “Start the school year like a hero” was right above the glass stand with arms. Photos quickly dispersed on the social network.

He in turn responded to some of the comments, calling the booth “really awful.”

Spokesman charles croon said CNNMoneythat the company is “unhappy” and “works hard” to find out which store had taken the picture and to make sure that the sign was removed.
On Wednesday evening, Crohn reported that the company still had not identified the store where the photo was taken.
Company Walmart not for the first time came under a barrage of consumer criticism. In 2016, on the eve of the 11 bombing of September 2001, in one of the stores Walmart in Panama City Beach, black boxes were placed from under Coca-Cola in the form of towers of the World Trade Center. Above the boxes hung a banner with the words "Never forget." However, due to user criticism, the corporation deleted the installation and apologized.
And in 2014, the company apologized for selling the “fat girl” costume on its website.
