Two children were bitten by sharks on the beaches in New York
Sharks have bitten a boy and a girl on the beach in Fire Island (New York).
13-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were injured, sharks attacked them in Atlantic Beach and Sailors Heaven near 11: 15 18 July, writes NBC.
13-boy on Atlantic Beach at the time of the attack was on the board. After the bite, he fell from her into the water, he was pulled out by a lifeguard. During cleaning and disinfection, it was found that an animal's tooth was stuck in the boy's leg. He was pulled out and sent for analysis to determine the type of shark.
According to the father of the injured girl, she was in the water when she suddenly began to panic. When rescuers pulled her out, she had deep bites on her leg.

Sharks are often seen on the beaches of Long Island and Jersey Shore, but attacks rarely occur. Since 1837, only 10 shark attacks have been reported in New York. Fifteen were registered in New Jersey and one in Connecticut.
