A new storm is coming on New York

Nearly half a million people, as of March 5, are left without electricity due to a strong winter storm that hit the US east coast. According to the energy companies in each state, because of the storm, there are no power left around to 424 000 residents in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Maine. Due to difficult weather conditions, at least 9 people died, including children of 11 and 6 years.

According to weather forecasters, residents of the region should prepare for a new storm, writes NBC News.

It is expected that the second storm will cover the east coast in the evening of March 6, bringing heavy snowfalls and a gusting wind. Bad weather will last until March 8.

The storm carries the risk of collapse of power lines and trees, as well as minor coastal flooding.

A large amount of snow can lead to transport problems.

This storm is not expected to be as strong as the storm that devastated the east coast a few days ago, but it is expected to lead to heavy snowfall in Philadelphia, New York and Boston, where the previous storm basically caused only rains.

According to meteorologists, while there are several options for the development of an impending storm, therefore, it is not currently possible to predict how much snow or rain will fall in each of the affected cities.
