Hawaii has introduced the highest level of danger due to volcanic eruption.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has increased the level of air danger on the Big Island of Hawaii from orange to red due to the increased eruption of Kilauea volcano.

The red level of danger indicates the approach of a large eruption.
In particular, volcanic holes continuously emit ash, which blows the wind to the south-west of the island. Residents of the village of Pahala, located in 28 km from the volcano, reported air pollution.

Radars and agency pilots report ash clouds reaching 10 to 000 feet (12 to 000 meters) above sea level.

The service clarified that the volcano is extremely unstable, its activity may increase at any time and will be accompanied by new emissions of ash, lava and explosions near Kilauea crater.

Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and has been in a state of constant eruption over the past 35 years, taking short breaks. Its last major eruption was in the 2014 year, in the 2017 year, the volcano was also active, but it ended in insignificant outcrops of lava.
Signs of an approaching eruption this year began to produce a volcano in late April, causing small earthquakes on the island. The immediate lava flow began on May 4, marked by the 6,9 magnitude earthquake, the most powerful on the island since 1975.
At the moment lava has destroyed at least 30 homesMore 2000 people are evacuated.
On the island new volcanic cracks continue to open, as of 16 in May, their numbers are 20, seismic activity also continues on the island, small earthquakes occur almost every day.
