American border guard wounded a Russian on the border with Mexico
A US border guard officer on the border with Mexico shot a Russian citizen and injured him, writes Air force.

The US agency reports that the incident occurred on the evening of November 14 (Moscow time - November 15) east of the city of Lucville, Arizona.
“The agent attempted to arrest the subject and an altercation ensued. The agent used a firearm, resulting in the subject being injured. The subject, a Russian national, was transported by helicopter to a hospital near Phoenix for treatment. The injury is not life-threatening. He is currently in the hospital,” US officials said.

The name of the victim, as well as other details of the incident, were not announced by the American authorities. The Russian Consulate in Houston reported that the victim was Yevgeny Glushchenko, 1982 year of birth.
The legitimacy of the use of weapons is currently being investigated by the FBI and a special group within the border service.
The TASS agency, citing the US agency, emphasized that the further fate of the Russian will depend on the decision of the federal prosecutor's office and the charges that it decides to bring him.
The US Border and Customs Service detained 859 501 people on the border with Mexico for the fiscal year ending September 30, and already 36 thousand people only in October.
