American tourist brutally beaten in Australia

Last week in Australia, an unknown beat an American tourist. As a result, the victim required an emergency operation, writes FOX News.

Local police are looking for a suspect.

According to authorities, the victim was a 32-year-old musician who came as a tourist to Melbourne. Near 23: 30 he walked from the tram stop when the attack occurred.

Senior Constable Matthew Coleiro told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: “An unknown person struck him with such force that the victim fainted. As soon as the man regained consciousness, the attacker again began to strike, until the victim again lost consciousness. Then he left him unconscious. ”

The man came to his senses in 30 minutes and turned to the passerby for help. An American tourist lost his memory and underwent two operations. Doctors stopped the bleeding in the brain and restored the broken jaw.

He is expected to fly home soon after spending six weeks in Australia.

“His family has been notified of the incident. He has no one in Australia who can provide support,” Coleiro said.
