'We will take back America': Trump held a large-scale rally with his supporters
The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, held the first rally with his supporters since leaving office in January 2021. He strongly criticized the immigration policy of the current US President Joe Biden. Writes about it with the BBC.
The rally was held in Wellington (Ohio). Trump held it under the slogan "Save America". Trump did not forget to mention that, in his opinion, the results of the presidential elections in November 2020, as a result of which he was not re-elected for a second term, were rigged.
He hinted that he could run for president for the third time.
“We won the election twice and we may have to do it a third time,” Trump said.
His participation in the next presidential election depends on how the legal problems facing Trump are resolved. At the office of the Manhattan (New York) district attorney, Trump's lawyers were told that they were considering opening a criminal case against Trump's business.

Also at the rally, Trump raised the topic of the growing number of immigrants on the US-Mexican border.
“Millions of people come to our country. We have no idea who they are,” Trump said, noting that Joe Biden’s actions are the opposite of what his administration did.
The Biden administration called Trump's immigration policies inhuman.
Although Trump did not name the exact plans, he called for support of Republicans who will run for Congress.
“We will take back Congress, we will take back America, and we will do it soon,” he said.
The Democratic Party now has a minimal majority in both chambers, but the 2022 election could change that.

After Trump left the White House, he only spoke publicly at GOP events. The rally in Ohio was his first mass event since leaving the presidency.
In particular, he supported his ally Max Miller, who intends to run against incumbent Congressman Anthony Gonzales, one of the 10 Republicans who voted for Trump's impeachment after the events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Trump is expected to attend two more rallies. Presidential supporters hope such events will help Trump rally the Republican Party and provide support to like-minded candidates.
