The Oscar statuette of the best actress was stolen right after the presentation
The actress Frances McDormand, who won an Oscar for Best Actress, was stolen a statuette at a party after the awards ceremony.

Unknown man grabbed the statuette when the actress put it down to chat with other guests, reports The Daily Beast.
Initially, the attacker managed to escape, but then he was detained by the photographer of the event. The thief turned out to be 47-year-old Terry Bryant. Los Angeles police arrested a man and filed charges of theft; the court set a bail for him in 20 thousand dollars. The statuette was returned to the actress.
It is noteworthy that the thief tried to demonstrate in his Facebookas if he really got an Oscar. On the social network, he said that he was a music producer, made a joyful video with a statuette and asked the subscribers to congratulate him.
“Look, babies. My team received this today. This is mine!” Bryant said in the video and kissed the Oscar.
Later in the three-minute video, Bryant tells a woman at a party after the ceremony that he won the award for best producer.
"Oscar, baby! You know, I can't believe I got this. I can not believe it. For the music,” said the man.
Recall McDormand has won award as best actress for her leading role in the film “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”
