A man because of constant ridicule killed his wife during a cruise in Alaska
A resident of Utah killed his wife during a cruise in Alaska and told an eyewitness that she constantly made fun of him, reports the FBI.
39-year-old Kenneth Ray Manzanares was charged with the murder of his wife Christie Manzanares aboard a cruise ship Emerald Princess.
Security officers and medical staff working on the ship reported that when they entered the cabin of the married couple, they found a woman with a big head wound and a husband whose hands were covered in blood.
An eyewitness saw Manzanares dragging his wife’s body to the ship’s balcony, then returned her to his cabin shortly after.
“She wouldn’t stop laughing at me,” Manzanares told the witness when he asked him what happened to his wife.
During the search, Manzanares said that "my life is over." He was sent into custody without the possibility of bail. The hearing is scheduled for August 10.

The ship security team is in constant contact with the FBI, the Coast Guard and other local authorities. The FBI conducted some 200 interrogations in this case.
Employer Christie Manzanares, who worked as a realtor in Summit sotheby's, published a statement in which he called her "a devoted and loving mother, who arranged her work schedule so that children remained the top priority."
According to the cruise company, a seven-day cruise flight sailed from Seattle on Sunday, July 23. Planned trip through the picturesque Tracy arm fjord has been cancelled. After stopping at Skagway in southeast Alaska, the liner continued its cruise along the planned route.
