In North Carolina, a man saved a 8-year-old boy from a shark

A resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, was not afraid to save an 8-year-old child from the mouth of a bloodthirsty sea predator. Fortunately, the boy received only minor injuries from a small bite, according to the Police Department.

Law enforcement officials said the incident occurred at about noon near the south promenade. According to WBTV, Scott the Shepherd boy saved the boy, but he himself was not aware of what had happened and was shocked.

He said he couldn't go into detail. “I really want to wait until the boy gets out of the hospital. This is my friend's son. Out of respect for them, I really want to just wait and pray that he's okay,” Cowherd said.

Earlier, Scott's father, Neil, called the WBTV news department with information about the incident. “My son and his friends were on the beach. The children were playing in the shallow water, where the water was knee-deep,” Neil Cowherd said. But at one moment his son heard a scream and, without even having time to think, rushed to help.
