A man before his death left a neighbor girl gifts for Christmas for the next 14 years

He was “a man with a capital M,” says the Williams family.

A resident of the British city of Barry, South Wales, named Ken after his death left the neighbors' daughter Christmas presents for the next 14 years, according to Mirror.

The Williams family lived next door to Ken for about two years. They moved to the house immediately after the birth of the child. The old man, who was more than 80 years old, doted on their daughter Kadi. The man passed away, and on Monday, December 17, his daughter brought gifts to Williams, which Ken asked to give to Cadi.

“She had a large plastic bag in her hands. “I thought there was trash there and she was asking me to take it out,” Williams admitted. “I brought the bag into the room, and at that time my wife was talking to my mother-in-law via video call. My wife burst into tears, then I, and then her mother,” the man said. He added that no one expected this from a neighbor. It is unknown whether Ken bought the gifts over the course of two years or acquired everything recently, anticipating his demise.

The couple opened one of the gifts: it contained a children's book. They added that they do not yet know what to do with the rest. “The gifts appear to include books, three or four stuffed animals and maybe a Lego Duplo,” Williams said.

According to him, before retirement, the neighbor worked as a deep-sea diver and was “a man with a capital M.”
