Muslim expelled from the election meeting of Trump

A Muslim woman, 56-year-old Rose Hamid, who made a silent protest, was expelled from a pre-election meeting Presidential candidate Donald Trump, held in the city of Rock Hill (South Carolina).

A woman wearing a hijab and a T-shirt with the inscription “Salam, I came in peace” took the place behind the politician, and when he started accusing Syrian refugees of having links to the Islamic State terrorist organization, she just stood up and in silence stood behind Trump writes CNN.

“We have an incredible hatred. It is their hatred, not ours, ”the presidential candidate said after the woman was removed.

Shortly after the incident, the public organization Council on American-Islamic Relations called on Trump to apologize.

“The image of a Muslim woman being thrown out of a political rally serves as a wake-up call for American Muslims and all those who value traditions of religious diversity,” said Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Before the event, Hamid said that she did not intend to disrupt Trump’s meeting with voters, she just wanted to show his supporters that Muslims are people just like them.

“I figured that most Trump supporters had never met a Muslim, so I decided to give them the opportunity to meet one of us,” the woman said.

Despite the fact that Hamid was kicked out of the hall where the meeting took place, she managed to talk to Trump's supporters sitting around her in the stands, and they apologized to her when the police forced her to leave the hall.
