MoviePass reduces subscription cost to $ 10 per month
Movie theater service MoviePass reduces monthly subscription cost to $ 9,95.
This means that users of the service can theoretically watch one movie at the cinema every day for almost the price of a subscription to Netflix, writes The Verge.
Price cuts became possible because the service recently sold some of the companies Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc. Moviepass hopes to start using the data that he collects on the film preferences of his subscribers.
The company was founded in 2011 year, initially pricing it was based on the location of subscribers and the number of films that they watched every month.
In 2016, the cost of the service was varied from $ 15 to $ 50 per month. But the company found that customers would like to pay even less, so they changed the pricing policy.
A $ 9,95 fee per month will cover tickets to any American cinema that accepts debit cards, but not IMAX or 3D sessions.
