Fraudsters hold fake raffle tickets for Aeroflot, KLM and Air France flights

The Russian airline Aeroflot has warned about scammers who, on behalf of the carrier, are spreading false information about the drawing of free air tickets on social networks.
This is stated in the message on Online company.
“Aeroflot officially declares that the drawing of free tickets, information about which is rapidly spreading on social networks, is fake, and the airline has nothing to do with it,” the statement says.
The airline warned that participation in such contests can give scammers access to personal data, accounts and user contacts.
“This can be used for hacker attacks, stealing funds, storing prohibited information and sending spam,” Aeroflot noted.
In early June, information about the competition, allegedly conducted by the Russian airline, began to spread on the Internet, the post indicated that the user got 2 free air tickets, and was offered to go to the website with a domain name similar to the email address of Aeroflot, reports with the BBC.
After the transition on this link, the user was offered to register and answer a few questions, after which he received a notification that he did not become the owner of the tickets.
In parallel, similar proposals in social networks were sent on behalf of the airlines. Emirates, KLM and Air France.
