Many city residents posted photos of snowy New York on social networks. But the residents of Brighton Beach decided to meet the storm in a completely unconventional way. Despite sub-zero temperatures, strong winds and snowfall, members of the Polar Bears club gathered on the famous waterfront in the Coney Island area. During the day, when the air temperature was about -5 degrees Celsius, the walruses began water procedures.

These inhabitants of Brighton Beach are not used to ice water in the ocean. The swim was successful. A group of Russian-speaking extremals was watched by law enforcement officers. After a group swim, club members and police officers posed for the camera with pleasure. And the photos turned out ...
