Protesters in Armenia put forward new ultimatum to authorities
Protesters in the capital of Armenia Yerevan put forward a new ultimatum to the authorities. They are still located on Baghramyan Avenue. If their demands are not met, then starting from 6 July, they will move their barricades from the garbage cans a meter forward every day.
Thus, they want to move to the building of the presidential administration in Armenia. At the moment, barricades are located approximately in 60 meters.
Deputy police chief of Yerevan Valery Osipyan 4 July appealed to the protesters with the requirement to remain within the bounds of legality. He claims that the police will not allow movement of the barricades towards the presidential administration.
Demonstrators still demand to cancel the increase in electricity tariffs, to punish all the guilty security officials in cruel dispersal of protesters and release the detained activists.
