528 minus points: Dow Jones index continues to fall

The fall of US stock markets, which began in the early days of the new year, continues. The Dow Jones Index has already declined by more than 500 points.

If the trend continues, the biggest fall could be recorded and even beat the anti-record 24 of August, when Dow Jones lost 588 points.

According to analysts, the active sale of shares on the stock exchange indicates that many investors, concerned about the latest figures, throw a white flag in order to reduce their own risks.

"It feels like capitulation before the bottom hits," says Stifel strategist Barry Bannister.

In addition, the actions of traders are affected by the fact that the next Monday will be a day off due to the celebration of Martin Luther King Day, dedicated to the fighter for the rights of African Americans.
