The US Secretary of Health has become an American with Ukrainian roots

On January 29, the oath of the head of the US Department of Health took 50-year-old Alex Eizar, an American with Ukrainian-Lebanese roots, reports Voice of America.

Президент США Дональд Трамп возлагает на Эйзара очень важные задачи — разработать программу преодоления опиоидного кризиса в стране и существенно уменьшить стоимость лекарств для американцев.

The previous head of the US Department of Health Tom Price resigned in September 2017 after he was convicted of embezzling budget money to pay for charter flights for himself.
