Legroom: comparing airlines by distance between seats

Flying in an airplane in economy class can be very unpleasant for tall people, as it is rather difficult to fit long legs in the limited space between the seats.

But there are airlines, the distance between the seats in the aircraft which can be uncomfortable, even for people of small stature.

Edition CNN collected information about the infusion between the seats in the aircraft of various US airlines.

• Jet Blue - 34 inches (86,4 cm);
• Virgin America, Southwest - 32 inches (81,3 cm);
• Delta, American - 31 inches (78,8 cm);
• United - 30 inches (76,2 cm);
• Spirit - 28 inches (71,1 cm).
