Merkel called Zelensky: it became known what was agreed

German Chancellor Angela Merkel congratulated Vladimir Zelensky on his victory in the presidential elections, promising Ukraine further support from the German government, the publication writes.Ukrainian Truth«.

This is stated in the message on Online Chancellor of Germany, posted on Monday.

“I sincerely congratulate you on your election as President of Ukraine,” said Angela Merkel.

She stressed that since the Revolution of Dignity, bilateral relations between Ukraine and Germany have significantly intensified, both politically and economically, socially and culturally.

“The stabilization of Ukraine and the peaceful resolution of the conflict are as important to me as the implementation of key reforms of the judicial system, decentralization and the fight against corruption,” Merkel said.

The German Chancellor stressed that Berlin will continue to support Ukraine in the struggle for its territorial integrity.

“The German government will continue to actively support Ukraine, especially in its right to sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the chancellor noted.

She added that she would be glad to soon receive Zelensky in Berlin. “I wish you good luck and success in solving the tasks facing you,” Merkel concluded her congratulations.
