Melania Trump is accused of plagiarizing Trump's second wife
Melanya Trump, the wife of the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, spoke about what she intends to do if her husband is elected the American leader. The speech was beautiful, but apparently some Donald Trump's second wife, Marla Maples, uttered some phrases before her.
Yair Rosenberg, senior writer for Tablet Magazine, wrote that Melania took the line "if you could dream it, you can become it" from an old interview with Donald Trump's second wife. It turns out that both women - Melania Trump and Marla Maples - distorted William Arthur Ward's famous saying: “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you dream of something, you can become it.”
In an interview with 2011 for Maximum magazine, Marla Maples talked about her modest upbringing.
“Even though I was from a small town of 500 people, I learned to dance, play the clarinet and play the trumpet,” she said. “I believed that if you could dream it, you could become it. So, I didn’t see any restrictions in life.”
But the performance itself Melania Trump:
Earlier Melania Trump is already accused of plagiarism — after her speech at the Republican National Convention. Her speech was almost identical to Michelle Obama's speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
Then her speechwriter Meredih MakIver took the blame, which contradicted the statements of Trump, who claimed that his wife wrote her own speech.
