Mother made a photo session of a newborn daughter with colleagues of her deceased father

War Christopher M. Harris died in Afghanistan in August, just a week after he learned that his wife was pregnant, writes CNN.

“He got excited and started telling all his friends,” Harris said, explaining that being a father is the greatest value in life.

A few days after the news, Harris died in a vehicle explosion.

Co-workers of the military of the 82-th Airborne Division supported the widow throughout her pregnancy. 17 March Harris gave birth to a girl, and decided to celebrate this day in a special way.

“I wanted to let everyone meet Christian,” the mother said.

Woman agreed on a photo shoot with the company Pinehurst photography. They photographed the funeral of her husband. The company made a film about the birth of a child.

The photo session was held in the Calebay Botanical Garden. Harris stressed that she would like Christian to grow up to see how her father’s comrades loved her from the first day she was born.

“They were a part of her life before she was born, and I know they will be there for the rest of her life,” the woman says.
