A mother fought off a tiger with her bare hands that tried to drag her little son away.
In India, a woman has been hospitalized with serious injuries after fighting off a tiger that was trying to take her child. Writes about it USA Today.

Her 15-month-old son also suffered head injuries in an attack on the outskirts of the Bandhavgarh tiger reserve in northeast India.
Archana Chowdhary took her son Raviraj outside their hut to relieve himself when a tiger, believed to have come from a nearby game reserve in Madhya Pradesh, attacked the baby.

The parents were in the field when the tiger came out of the bushes and attacked the baby.
The predatory animal grabbed the head of the child with its mouth and tried to drag the baby away. But the mother attacked the tiger with all her might. Her cries for help attracted residents of nearby areas, who came running with sticks and drove the predator away.

After this collision, the woman had a punctured lung and serious body injuries, her son had a head wound. The doctor said that both were treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital and received injections against rabies.
The tiger is now being searched to push the animal back into its territory.
