'People need to hear': Trump wants to read to Americans the transcript of conversation with Zelensky

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he was ready to read to American citizens live transcript of a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Writes about it RBC-Ukraine.

According to Trump, the conversation with Zelensky was “good”, so he is going to read the transcript himself to the American people. Perhaps he will even read it live.

“It was a good phone conversation. “One day I’ll get myself together, sit down, maybe it’ll be a live fireside chat, and read the transcript of the call because people need to hear it,” the US President said.

The head of the White House also stressed that he does not intend to cooperate with representatives of the Democratic Party as part of the impeachment investigation. Trump called the Democrats' investigation a "fraud" and a "deception."

The Office of the President of Ukraine said they would not publish a transcript of Zelensky's telephone conversation with Trump, because the procedure for publishing transcripts is not provided for by the laws of Ukraine.
