Lugansk, Donetsk and Grozny entered the rating of the most dangerous cities

The most dangerous city is Baghdad. He headed rankingcompiled by analytical company Verisk Maplecroft.

The company analyzed the number of terrorist attacks in different parts of the world for 12 months (from February 2014 of the year to March of the current year), and also compared these data with statistics for the previous five years.

64 cities have entered the category of extremely dangerous, while 12 of them are the capitals of various countries. So, on the 13-th line of the ranking is located Kabul (Afghanistan), 14-th place was taken by Mogadishu (Somalia). Also on this list are Sana'a (Yemen) and Tripoli (Libya). Note that most of the most dangerous cities in the world are located either in the Middle East or in Asia.

Europe is still considered a fairly safe region. The exception this year was perhaps Paris, which rose to the category of high-risk cities after the attack on the editorial board of Charlie Hebdo in January, which took the life of a 17 man. After this tragic event, the French capital moved from 201 to 97 in the ranking. Extremely dangerous for living from all European cities were considered only three: Lugansk (46) and Donetsk (56), covered by the hostilities, and one Russian city - the capital of Chechnya, Grozny, which settled on the 54 line.

The situation in Africa was adversely affected by the intensification of the terrorist group Boko-Haram. Nigeria suffered the most from it, the 13 of 24 of the studied cities experienced a significant increase in the number of terrorist attacks. Only in the capital, Abuja (18), four terrorist attacks occurred during the reporting months of 12, causing the death of an 117 man.
