The best and worst US cities for motorists
If you enjoy driving, then maybe you should move to Raleigh, North Carolina.
WalletHub website published a report that Roles — best city to ride. The study examined 100 major US cities and analyzed on the basis of 30 driver friendliness indicators.
The study took into account the cost of owning a car, traffic and infrastructure, safety and access to vehicles and maintenance. Specific measurements included car dealerships per capita, level of car thefts, annual hours spent in traffic jams, average gas prices and the cost of a new car.
Following Raleigh, WalletHub found that Orlando, Florida, and Lincoln, Nebraska, are the second and third best cities for drivers.

Meanwhile, of the 100 cities analyzed, Detroit was the worst city for drivers, followed by Auckland and Philadelphia.
In addition to the overall rating, WalletHub found that the cities with the lowest annual hours spent on heavy traffic, — these are Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and the cities with the highest annual hours — Washington, DC, and Boston.
WalletHub also found that the lowest level of car thefts в Gilbert, Arizona. Meanwhile, the cities with the highest level of car thefts are connected. These are the three routes between Albuquerque, Auckland and Detroit.
The city with the lowest average gas prices — San Antonio, and the city with the highest average gas prices — San Francisco, California.
