Quentin Tarantino married an Israeli model

Renowned director Quentin Tarantino married his fiancee Danielle Peak in a private ceremony in Los Angeles.

As the People, on the bride was a white dress, white veil and tiara, and on Tarantino - a black suit.

The bride's father, a famous Israeli singer and songwriter Zvika Peak, did not come to the wedding, citing poor health, writes the publication “NEWS".

The couple got engaged more than a year ago, this ceremony also took place in Los Angeles 1 July 2017 of the year. After that, it was announced about the imminent wedding, but preparations were delayed.

The romance between the 55-year-old director and the 35-year-old Israeli singer began in 2009, during Tarantino's visit to Tel Aviv. The director arrived in Israel as part of the world promotional tour for the film “Inglourious Basterds.”

At one of the secular receptions, he was introduced to Daniela Peak, daughter of an Israeli composer, pop singer and idol of several generations of Israelis. The media then wrote that Daniela immediately won the heart of the American star. Two weeks later, Tarantino, holding his Israeli girlfriend by the hand, appeared on the red carpet in Los Angeles.

In Israel, meanwhile, it was rumored that the experienced in advertising affairs Tarantino was using the Jewish beauty only to promote the film on the relevant topic, and that this novel would end quickly. Indeed, after some time the lovers broke off the relationship, but not for long. The resumption of relations ended with the engagement.

Tsvika Pick answered questions about his attitude to the event briefly: “Yes, we are very happy, today everyone in our family is happy.”

Zvika Pick, an Israeli pop idol of the 1980s, is known for numerous hits, including the Eurovision winning song “Diva.” Peak also collaborated with Philip Kirkorov.

His daughters Daniela and Sharona are singers and members of the duet “Sisters Peak” (“Ha-akhayot shel Peak”). Daniela also performs solo works and is known in the world of pop music as a performer of songs in English and Hebrew.

Quentin Tarantino is one of the most prominent representatives of postmodernism in cinema. The director gained worldwide fame after the film “Pulp Fiction” (1994), which brought him the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as the Oscar and Golden Globe awards. His works also include “Reservoir Dogs” (1992), “Jackie Brown” (1997), “Kill Bill” (2003), “Inglourious Basterds” (2009), “The Hateful Eight” (2015) and others. For the script for the film "Django Unchained" he was again awarded an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
