The United States created a site on Russian aggression in Ukraine

The armed conflict in the Donbas continues with the 2014 year, after the Russian occupation of the Crimea. Ukraine and the West accuse Russia of armed support for the militants. The Kremlin rejects these accusations and claims that there may be Russian “volunteers” in the Donbas.

According to the UN, as of the end of December 2018, about 13 people were killed and about 000 were injured during the conflict.

Ukraine attacked

US and EU efforts to curb further aggression include the use of restrictive measures. EU sanctions should updated periodically and be consistent throughout the year.

Recall that February 12 Volcker said on his Twitter account that Russia has been violating the Minsk agreements for four years every day. Then the American diplomat also showed a fragment of a document signed by representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE.

The next day, US Representative to the UN, Jonathan Cohen, at a Security Council meeting demanded from Russia to withdraw troops from the Donbass. He stressed that the US will not lift sanctions against Russia until Ukraine regains control over the occupied Donbas and Crimea. The diplomat also called on Russia to release the Ukrainian sailors and return the ships that were captured in November in the Black Sea.
