In the northern part of New York, in St. Lawrence County, on a river, a cruise liner crashed into a lock, according to the US Coast Guard. Michael Lequieuer, a spokesman for the rescue service, said that 17 people had been injured.
The injured 17 were removed from the vessel, accompanied by their relatives, 13. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
