Cruise Ship Company Norwegian Cruise Line he went through a winter cyclone raging over the northeast of the USA, arranging adventures for passengers that they obviously did not count on.

The ship was exposed to huge waves, strong winds and rain, due to which the ship was constantly flooded with water - so three days of cruise passed for passengers until the ship eventually reached the port in New York, writes Mashable.

Many of the travelers shot terrible video footage of what was happening on the ship.

Passengers could not leave their cabins due to heavy snow, wind and rain, but even inside they could not shelter from the elements - water flowed into the premises through the roof of the cabins and along the steps from the upper deck.

According to travelers, many people on the ship were panicked, some were crying.

“When you're on a ship in the middle of the ocean and there's water running down the floor and the stairs, you expect it to end badly. It was the worst moment of my life,” said one of the passengers, Caroline Ross.

“I'm very shocked. After this, I will never go to sea on any type of vessel again,” said passenger Emma Franzese.

Norwegian Cruise Line apologized for the stress and inconvenience experienced by the guests, saying that the vessel "faced weather conditions that were worse than forecasted." Although, according to meteorologists, the development of the storm was correctly forecasted, and they advised ships to avoid these places.
