Cat hero saved the boy by taking a bullet on himself
Early in the morning, a stray bullet passed through a window in the house of Angelica Cype (Pennsylvania), then through a cat and hit the pillow on which a three-year-old boy was sleeping.
“For several seconds I could not understand what happened. The first thing I did was check on my son, but he was sleeping as if nothing had happened. Then I saw the cat on the floor and realized that the bullet had hit him,” Sipe said. The bullet went through the couch and then hit Opie, who was lying there.
“The bullet went through the top of the head, the lower part of the neck and back into the shoulder and exited through the armpits,” the woman added. But that's not the end, the bullet ricocheted and hit the pillow, just a few centimeters from the three-year-old boy.
Sipe is convinced that Opie saved her son by taking the bullet himself. Although the cat has some muscle damage, he is expected to be fine. “I want to keep him. He’s my son’s little hero, so I need to keep him close,” Sipe said.
A thousand dollars have already been paid for the treatment of Opie, but his mistress is not going to give up her pet.
