US Congress will help Ukraine contrary to Trump’s will

“If he still decides not to spend this money, then I’m sure both parties in Congress will oppose this decision and provide money,” Republican Senator Ron Johnson said at a joint press conference with Democrat Chris Murphy. Before this, politicians together visited Ukraine, Kosovo and Serbia.

In late August, it became known that the US Department of Defense also opposed the cessation of military assistance to Ukraine. Given these funds, over the past five years, the United States has allocated Ukraine about $ 1,5 billion for the development of the army.
