Microsoft has shown new smartphones and other innovations.
Microsoft introduced the new Lumia-950 and Lumia-950 XL smartphones running on the Windows-10 operating system.
The Lumia-950 smartphone is equipped with a 5,2-inch screen and has liquid cooling (this is usually used in powerful desktop computers). The smartphone will start selling in November 2015, its price starts with 549 dollars. Lumia-950 XL differs in larger sizes.
Together with the new smartphones, Microsoft presented the device Display Dock, which, according to the developers, will allow turning mobile devices into computers.
Via the Display Dock, you can connect an external monitor, keyboard and mouse to the smartphone, and then work with universal applications under Windows-10, like at a computer. At the same time, instead of the Start menu, the screen of the smartphone will be displayed on the external monitor.
Also at the presentation held on 6 in October, Microsoft announced new versions of Surface Pro tablets and Microsoft Band smart watches, as well as an 13-inch SurfaceBook laptop. This is the company's first own laptop. The price for it starts with 1499 dollars.
Surface Pro tablets feature an extra keyboard, which is attached as needed. A laptop keyboard Surfacebook, if desired, can be disconnected.
