In most parts of the United States, such as Arizona, Idaho, Alabama, Iowa, and Alaska, strange things were happening long ago about which terrible legends still circulate. They are so terrible that people still can not believe what was happening in their country once.

Some claim that if a pregnant woman passes under the statue, she will definitely lose her unborn child. Others say that you cannot touch it, since the person will die soon.

3. Alabama

Bridge “Hell's Gate”

In Alabama, there is an eerie-looking bridge that wears the no less intimidating name, Hell's Gate.

In 50 – s of the last century, a car fell from this bridge into a river. In it were a boy and a girl, young people died on the spot. Since then, the locals have avoided this place. There are two versions of the urban legend of the bridge and the accident. The first one says that if you drive your car, stop and turn off the headlights, you can see dead young people in your salon. According to another version of the legend, if by car you get to the middle of the bridge, stop and turn around, a flaming portal to hell will open to a man’s gaze. The authorities, concerned about these strange legends, in order to protect the curious from irreparable mistakes, just in case, decided to close the passage over this bridge. To date, travel on it is strictly prohibited.

4. Alaska

Their fate in the future remains a mystery. But the local tribes of the Tlingit Indians believe that they are being taken away by the evil spirit of Kushtak. 5. Arizona

According to legend, during the time of the Gold Rush, a family of poor lived in the territory of a canyon in Arizona. One day, the husband went to look for food for the children and the wife, but he never went back. Mother and children began to slowly die of hunger. In the end, the woman made a difficult decision for herself to kill the children and throw their dead bodies into the river. The next day she died too. Now, according to local residents, at night terrible desperate sounds are heard, similar to the cry of a mother distraught with grief.
