3 September 2016 would have turned 75 years to Soviet and American writer and journalist Sergey Dovlatov.

He is one of the most widely read Russian-language writers of the late twentieth century. But, living in his homeland, he was unable to reach the reader with his works. His works began to be published in Russia in the 80s - after his immigration to the United States.
