Clinton canceled festive salute
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton canceled a previously scheduled fireworks display that was scheduled to begin on November 8 in New York, 30 minutes after polls closed in the state.
Election headquarters notified US Coast Guard officers that it was abandoning the previously scheduled 2 minute pyrotechnic show over the Hudson River, the news portal reported TMZ.
Representatives of the ex-Secretary of State did not explain the reasons for their decision.
Previously, journalists reported that Hillary Clinton headquarters planned a winning salute in New York close to the counting point via 30 minutes after the state closes.
