Airbnb customers continue to find hidden cameras in homes

Last month, another host tried to video guests without their knowledge. This is the second incident since October.

The post has collected more than 23 000 retweets and liked it more than 30 000 times.
In reply airbnb published a statement that they banned the owner of the house to register and rent property through their service, as well as "supported the guests by reimbursement of expenses."
Despite previous reports, a spokesman for the company said that guests rarely find cameras in rented homes.
“Cameras are not allowed in bathrooms or bedrooms. The owner must properly inform in advance about any other cameras,” the press service representative said.
In October, a couple from Indiana discovered a hidden camera in a bedroom in a Florida home, which they shot through airbnb. She was disguised as a smoke detector.
In 2015, a German woman sued a company for negligence after she discovered a hidden camera inside a residence in California.
Another person wrote about his experience in finding hidden cameras inside rented houses.
Another tenant, a woman named Erin, said her landlord decided to reimburse her after she unplugged the device she found at a Houston Airbnb.
