Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan decided not to hold a parade on Victory Day
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported that the parade on the occasion of Victory Day would not be held in the country.

“This year the parade in Astana will take place in September. It will be timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the republic’s independence,” the country’s Ministry of Defense said.
Experts are confident that the holiday on the occasion of Victory Day in Kazakhstan will continue to be celebrated, but gradually the state will exclude it from the list of the main events of the year.
Belarus also decided not to hold a parade on Victory Day. Before 2016, the leadership of the state regularly held a military parade in the country, but this year canceled a solemn march.
The military parade on 9 May was also canceled in Kyrgyzstan, writes “Sight".
On Victory Day, a requiem meeting will be held in the capital of this country, dedicated to the memory of those killed in World War II.
“The military parade is held only on anniversaries. In particular, this year a parade is planned in Bishkek to mark the 25 anniversary of the country's independence on August 31. 9 May on Victory Square at the Eternal Flame will be a requiem meeting, which will be attended by state leaders, veterans, and representatives of the public, ”the press service of the municipality of the capital of Kyrgyzstan reported.
