California police organized a Christmas miracle for a girl from Russia

Police officers from Foster City (California) organized a real Christmas miracle for a girl from a Russian family who now lives in the United States.

10 December, the girl was riding her bike and got into an accident, being trapped under the car. Passersby, who were nearby, had to lift the car to get the child out from under it. The girl was fine, but the bike was completely destroyed.

At the request of the girl's father to pick up the bike to fix it, the police officers of Foster City, realizing that it was impossible to return it to normal, decided to make a Christmas present for the child.

They collected money and bought her a new bike and helmet.

The girl’s mother, Anna Yarmolenko, wrote a touching letter to the police, in which she thanked them for the new bicycle, other city residents for pulling the child out of the trap under the car, and an unknown woman who was at the scene of the accident for “telling the frightened child that Santa would bring her new pants instead of the ones that were ruined in the accident, her simple words calmed the girl down.”

“Special thanks to the Foster City Police! I really don’t know any words that can express our sincere gratitude to you and your version of “fixing” a bicycle! Guys, you really made me cry with happiness that I live here, with you, with such wonderful people!” the letter from the girl’s mother says.

The police officers of Foster City wrote to her in return that they were very happy to see their family as part of the urban community and wished them happy holidays.
