Combi recalls 39 thousand car seats for kids
Combi USA recalls more than 39 thousand car seats for children due to the fact that they can put too much pressure on the baby’s chest in case of an accident.
Review refers to the type of seat Coccoro Convertible Child Restraints with model number 8220, produced from 1 January 2009 of the year to 29 July 2016 of the year, writes the publication Fox 32.
According to the documents, problems arise when the seat is set facing the road and held only by a seat belt.
A problem was identified during government tests. Combi claims that it has not received such complaints from those who purchased the seats of this model.
Combi will notify the owners and send them cover for the lower part of the seat, reducing the pressure on the chest of children. Coverage distribution started on July 11.
