How to choose the right queue in the supermarket
Failure to stand in line at the store can lead to sad results. Professor MIT Richard Larson calculated that Americans spend about 37 billion hours per year in queues.
New York Times has published useful tips on how to stand in line to lose less time.
Become a buyer with a full basket.

Study the purchases of other buyers

As the research of the Syracuse University shows, if the cashier does not see the end of the queue and, accordingly, how this queue is reduced, it moves more slowly.
