How to disable the transfer of personal data from WhatsApp to Facebook

25 August WhatsApp announced that it will transfer user phone numbers and other data to Facebook.
In addition to phone numbers, WhatsApp will also collect and share such data:
- type of operating system;
- screen resolution;
- telecommunications operator;
- device identifier;
- application frequency;
- telephone country code.
How to refuse to send data
If you are already registered in WhatsApp, then there are two ways to disable this function of distributing your personal information to other companies.
At the next launch, the application will meet you with a screen with an updated section "Terms and Privacy Policy". Do not rush to accept the conditions, and click on the “Read” link.
A switch appears at the bottom of the page. If you do not want to provide Facebook data, uncheck or deactivate the switch.
If you have already accepted the new conditions, then you have the opportunity to turn off the transfer of information. To do this, go to “Settings” (Settings) → “Account” (Account) → “Give my account info” (Share my account info) and disable this option.
