How do Americans relax, instead of visiting iconic places in the USA
According to the study, every fourth American has not yet visited religious landmarks in their cities, not to mention the country as a whole.
In fact, one out of every four 2000 respondents admitted that they will have to explore the sights in their own city, and 23% will visit places of worship throughout the country.
Of all respondents surveyed, only 33% visited Niagara Falls and 28% visited the Grand Canyon.

55% admitted that they have a local landmark, but they were not on it, while a similar number (53%) intend to visit their local library, but they never did.
43% of respondents said they were comfortable in their daily routine, so there is no particular desire to leave the comfort zone and explore nearby places.
It turns out that 58% of Americans do not have a local cafe, which they regularly attend.
The average American visits a new restaurant every 4 months, a new park every 4 months, and a new museum every 5 months.
So, what's really stopping the Americans from exploring local sights?
More than half (51%) reported a lack of money, three of 10 complain that they do not have enough time and are too busy, and 18% explain inaction by the lack of reliable transportation and a partner.
When 54% of Americans crave spontaneity in their lives, it's no wonder that 52% want them to travel more often.
In fact, 6 of 10 millennials often try something new compared to less than a third of those older than 55 years (32%).
