How Democrats put themselves in a trap and how Trump uses it

Who would have thought that the theoretical Buridan donkey, popularized by the French philosopher of the 14th century, would correctly predict the behavior of another kind of donkeys, namely the Democratic Party of the United States? The famous donkey, equally hungry and thirsty, was placed exactly in the middle between an armful of hay and a bucket of water. Our poor hypothetical donkey died because he could not make a decision regarding his desires.

Sounds familiar?

Democrats seek to impeach (that is, a vote of no confidence) President Trump, and at the same time seek to avoid it. They cannot decide how to proceed, because they have driven themselves into a corner. For years they have bombarded the country with various hoaxes, suggesting to the Americans that Trump is an agent of Russia. If they start the impeachment procedure against the president, then independent voters will give up the Democrats (independent voters will not tolerate persecution of an innocent person), and the Democrats will lose the election of the 2020 of the year. If the Democrats slow down the impeachment process, their brainwashed voters will abandon them, and as a result, the Democrats will again lose the election of the 2020 of the year, repeating the fate of Buridan's ass.

It is well known that Donald Trump is an opportunist. If he sees that the Democrats have driven themselves into a corner, he will definitely take advantage of this. Trump knows that any attempt to impeach a popular president (and if you doubt his popularity, just look at the lowest unemployment rate in many decades) will lead to a popular riot in the 2020 election year. This has happened before - in 1998, right after the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. Trump understands that after the publication of Muller’s report, the Democrats lost all the leverage of political pressure they had over him, so he constantly provokes them to take one step or another, knowing that any such step will damage his opponents one way or another.

Suddenly, President Trump announced an additional 5% interest rate on all Mexican goods, which was to enter into effect on 10 on June 2019 of the year. Officially, the goal of these tariffs was to force the Mexican government to cooperate with the United States on the issue of illegal immigration out of control. If Mexico refuses such cooperation, Trump announced the possibility of introducing an additional 10% tariff from July 1 and an% 15 tariff from August 1, and so on to 25% (assuming, of course, that the famous Hawaiian judge will not reverse the decision President).

For decades, Democrats have preferred the well-being of illegals to the well-being of American citizens. Why? Because illegal immigrants, fully dependent on government handouts, are the perfect electoral environment for Democrats. On the surface, it looks like President Trump’s attempt to stop the uncontrolled immigration of "unregistered democrats."

Indeed, within just a few hours after the announcement of the fare, Mexican President Lopez Obrador asked for a meeting with Trump. It is clear that tariffs will hit Mexico’s exports, but the government controls only 20% of the country’s territory; the rest of the territory is under the control of drug cartels. So why did Trump put forward his obviously impracticable demands to Mexico? Because Trump’s real goal here is not Mexico, but the US Democratic Party.

President Trump used the Democratic inaction about the border crisis and their lack of enthusiasm for ratifying the new trade agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico - USMCA. The NAFTA trade agreement was canceled by Trump, but the new agreement has not yet been ratified, and the Republicans do not have a two-thirds majority in the Senate to ensure a successful resolution of this issue. This situation allowed Trump to trick the Democrats again. If they do nothing about the USMCA (and they basically intended to do just that), then Trump's anti-Mexican tariff will be fully enforced.

The consequences of this are harmful, but not lethal to Mexico. However, this is a significant threat to the Democrats, who have again driven themselves into a corner on the issue of illegal immigration. In other words, if the Democrats ratify the new USMCA trade agreement, they will actually give Trump a gift - a significant achievement in the international arena; if they do not, then they will give Trump the opportunity to help stop illegal immigration. Both outcomes are politically lethal for the Buridan donkeys from the Washington Mire. In addition, Mexico seems to be paying for its alliance with the Democratic - anti-American and pro-socialist - party.

At present, the democratic donkey has taken on too much. In addition to the almost undisguised racism and open anti-Semitism, he drags on himself the assault troops of the Democratic Party, namely, the movement of Antifa and its supporters. As the most numerous anti-American party, the Democrats are in desperate need of political repentance. Without this repentance, a democratic donkey has no future, at least on American soil.

However, there is currently one unique way that helps Democrats get rid of such toxic baggage.

In accordance with the US Constitution, the impeachment procedure is a political, not a legal process, and can be applied both to the incumbent in order to remove him from the elective office, and against a previously elected official (in this case, the impeachment does not allow this person to take elective office in the future). Democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives, and this gives them an exceptional opportunity to distance themselves from both the dark past and the present socialist party. To get out of the paradox of Buridan's donkey, they must think very unconventionally.

All the Democrats need to do is impeach Barack Hussein Obama.

Most likely, the Republicans in Congress will extend a helping hand to the Democrats and help their political rivals to escape from themselves.
