How to get free legal assistance in immigration
The Network of Independent Immigration Lawyers (IAN), through its project, offers legal assistance to immigrants in all US states.
Services are provided either for free or for a small fee.
On the IAN website, taking advantage of the special interactive map, you can find organizations in your state involved in this project.
In addition, you can use the search for specific institutions.
Among other things, you can get legal assistance on changing the status of the United States (Adjustment of Status), obtaining political asylum, applying for a work permit, issuing a green card through family reunion, etc.
The goal of the IAN is to help low-income immigrants and increase the number of organizations that are willing to provide free or low-cost services. The project, which has already received high praise from experts, uses innovative approaches to collaboration and assistance.
Among other things, we are talking about providing convenient online tools for solving various problems.
