JetBlue is selling out tickets starting at $25, but you'll need to book quickly

JetBlue's latest sale is ending soon. Travelers need to hurry to save on flights in early 2024, reports Travel Leisure.

Travelers can use promo code "NEWYEAR" to get $25 off a one-way flight worth $50 or more or $50 off a round-trip flight worth $100 or more. Sale ends at 23:59 PM EST on December 13th. Details can be found here.

Not all seats on the flight are sold at discounts, but only some. Before a flight can begin selling discounted tickets, a flight must receive a minimum amount from regular-priced seat reservations.

The booking period is open for travel from January 9 to March 28, but does not include Fridays and Sundays. However, the discount only applies to direct routes and specifically does not apply to transatlantic or Mint business class tickets.

"Dig into your New Year's travel plans and save on next year's flights," JetBlue wrote on X about the promotion.

Travelers who live near major JetBlue hubs like Boston or New York are in luck, as there are plenty of nonstop flights included in this sale.

In particular, popular international winter vacation destinations such as Liberia, Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and San Juan, Puerto Rico are discounted. For travelers who want to stay closer to home, JetBlue flies to nearly a dozen Florida cities and offers seasonal flights to Bozeman, Montana.

The carrier offers three main fare classes that count towards this promotion: Blue Basic, Blue and Blue Extra.

The Blue Basic fare allows only personal items on board and charges for seat selection and any changes or cancellations. The Blue fare offers the best value with free carry-on baggage and advance seat selection, while the Blue Extra fare allows travelers to change their flight dates for free within 12 months.
