Vice President J.D. Vance has welcomed his fourth child.
US Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, announced the birth of their fourth child on July 19. The couple announced their pregnancy back in January, according to Fox News.
In a joint Instagram post, the couple announced that their son, Alec Neil Vance, was born on the morning of July 19.
"We are delighted to announce the birth of our son, Alec Neil Vance, this morning," they wrote. "Usha and the baby are doing well and are healthy, and our children were thrilled to welcome their new baby brother."

The Vance family thanked the military doctors and staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), as well as the White House Medical Unit, for their care.
"The amazing military doctors and staff at Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a true blessing to us," the couple said. "We are truly grateful for all they have done for our family."
Back in January, the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child.
"Usha and the baby are doing well, and we look forward to his arrival at the end of July," they said in a message posted on social media.
J.D. Vance and Usha Vance met while studying at Yale Law School and married in 2014. Before their daughter's birth, they already had two sons, Ewan and Vivek, and a daughter, Mirabelle.

Last year, their three eldest children made headlines when they attended the Inauguration Day swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol and the parade held at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
