Israeli woman will pay 5000 shekels for refusing to have sex

The Tiberias Small Claims Court tried a 80-year-old city resident who filed a complaint against her 48-year-old concubine for not fulfilling the terms of the co-residence agreement for money and gifts.

The widower who filed the lawsuit demanded compensation in the amount of 15 thousand shekels, since he spent exactly this amount on a woman, giving her cash and making presents.

In the lawsuit, he also noted that he was fully capable of performing marital duties and required women's affection and care.

Having met the woman he liked, the claimant signed an agreement with her, according to which he would give her gifts and pay in cash, for which she would maintain relations with him.

The plaintiff claimed that he had fulfilled all the terms of the agreement: he gave her cash, bought her a washing machine, an expensive mobile phone, sent her to rest in an 5-star hotel in Eilat.

However, the woman did not fulfill her obligations. According to the plaintiff, “instead of a little happiness, he received hell, anger and the devil’s curse.”

The woman stated in her defense that she thought that he needed him only for friendly conversations, and not at all for intimate relations, and the man constantly pursued her.

The court recognized the fact of the conclusion of such an agreement illegal. However, in this case, the woman knew in advance that she would not fulfill the conditions of this contract and signed it for mercenary purposes.

At the same time, the court decided not to award the payment of the entire amount, as there were several intimate meetings, but to limit 5000 shekels to payments to the plaintiff and 750 shekels of legal expenses.
