Israeli scientists printed a heart from a patient's cell on a 3D printer
It consists of working cells, vessels, chambers and ventricles.

Researchers from Tel Aviv University were able to print the heart for the first time on an 3D printer based on the patient’s cells and biological material, writes TJournal. Prior to this, scientists were able to create only simple tissue without blood vessels.
To create the heart, scientists took samples of fatty tissue from the patient. Cellular material was used as “ink” for “printout”. This allowed researchers to recreate a complex model of individual elements and the heart as a whole.

So far, the heart is about the size of a rabbit and does not suit people. However, scientists expect that using this technology will be able to print organs of human size. According to them, in the next ten years organ printers will become available in hospitals.
