Israel entered the top 5 countries where it is best to raise children

Israel ranked fourth among the 20 countries of the world recognized as the best in terms of child care and education.

Austria is named the best country in the world to raise children. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Institute of Sociological Research. InterNations.

Austria is followed by Finland and Sweden, ranked second and third, respectively, and Israel is ranked fourth in the world.

Germany is in seventh place, France is in eighth place, Spain is in twelfth place.

The UK is not included in the top 20, taking only 22 place.

The Family Life Index ranks countries according to their performance in the following categories: level of child care, spending on child care and education, quality of education, and family well-being. In 2015, the question of children’s leisure was added to the “family well-being” subcategory.

In total, 41 participated in the survey. In each of them 30 families of immigrants or repatriates were chosen as respondents.

Parents were asked to evaluate the quality, cost, and accessibility of childcare and education in a new country.

Austria topped the list, thanks to a unique system of social assistance provided to parents. When a child is born, a mother and father can take maternity leave, all families receive Kindergeld, a monthly benefit to cover expenses, until the child is 18 years old.

The benefit is from 100 to 200 euro.

As for Israel, the birth leave a child here is also provided to both parents, each family receives a one-time cash benefit after the addition of the family, and the state constantly supports large families.
